If you're starting a new WordGo Group, you have the option of including an Intro-Gathering, which will help your Group get to know each other and introduce newcomers to WordGo.

1. Home View

Navigate to Home View by tapping the icon at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.

2. Tap 'Start a new course' Circle

If you already have multiple profiles and groups, you will need to swipe along the top so that the option to start a new group/course appears. Tap Start a new group or course.

3. Choose Course

This will take you to the Course Library. Once you've selected a course, tap into it, and there will be an overview. Tap Preview to browse the entire course content. If you're ready to begin, tap Start Course.

4. Select study style

Here you will be able to choose whether you'd like to Stop your current course (this will replace the currently active course with the new one), study With friends, or On your own. Tap With friends.

After selecting With friends tap Get to know each other and then Sounds Great.

5. Set Details

Here you can set your Intro Gathering details including date, time, and location (online, in-person, or both). When you're ready, you can share the details for your Intro Gathering via another messaging platform.

6. Launch Gathering

You will then be taken back to Home View. However, the option to start your Intro Gathering will display at the top of your profile. When you're ready to lead your group through this process, go to your Profile, Launch Intro-Gathering, and if your details look good, tap Launch Gathering.

The app will then take you through a series of introductory material. Swipe through these to help guide the time with your group, introducing WordGo to new users by providing talking points and suggested discussion topics. When you're finished, tap Set up your Group.

7. Choose Course

The following steps will get your group set up, starting with choosing a course.

8. Set Gathering Mode

From here you will decide whether to gather in-person, online, or a mixture of both.

9. Set Details

Next, you will enter your Gathering Details including date, time, and frequency of your gatherings. When finished, tap Save.

10. Share Code with Members

The last step is to give your members access. Share the provided code with your group for them to use while creating an account.

Note! A short code is only valid for 4 hours and applicable only to those who are creating a WordGo account for the first time.

You can always forgo this process and invite new and existing WordGo users via email after the setup process >

When you're ready, tap Continue.

Congratulations! You've completed your Intro Gathering. The app will then load your study and you and your members can get started on the first week's material.
